VACCINATIONS

Your Cat WILL NOT be boarded without a current up to date vaccination certificate and should be vaccinated against Cat Flu and Feline Infectious Enteritis.

We also respectfully ask that you ensure that your cat(s) have up to date flea and worm treatments.  This is just as important if your cat is an indoor cat - as they are just as prevalent to infection from pathogens in the atmosphere.

If your cat has not been treated for fleas and worms then Lea Wood Cattery will administer these for an additional £5.50 per cat as the Cattery has to adhere to Licensing protocol to ensure that your cat/s have adequate protection when entering the Cattery establishment. This flea and worm treatment will protect your cat for 6 weeks.

On entering the cattery or at pick up you will be asked to produce your Vaccination Certificate - if you do not then Lea Wood Cattery reserve the right to refuse boarding.

Lea Wood Cattery will not accept kittens under 10 weeks of age that have not been inoculated.  A kitten which is not inoculated is vulnerable to infection and to place this into an environment whereby other cats are in close proximity is a serious breach - to the kitten and to the cats in the Cattery's care.  Lea Wood Cattery urges all prospective clients - whether they decide to come to us or not to ask pertinent questions relating to their cat/s to insure that regulations are being met at all times.

You will be asked to remove your Cat's collar prior to arriving/pick up.  This is for safety reasons and any Cat arriving with a collar will have it removed during its stay.

If any Cat is not collected for 2 weeks after its original departure date then Lea Wood Cattery will reserve the right to assume ownership and the cat will regretfully be sent for re-homing.  If you cannot collect for any reason then please contact Liz or Ian immediately and we will do our best to help.

PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR INSURANCE DOES NOT COVER VETERINARY FEES FOR ONGOING CONDITIONS PRIOR TO YOUR CAT'S ARRIVAL.

ANY VETERINARY FEES INCURRED DURING YOUR CAT'S STAY DUE TO ANY ONGOING OR NEW CONDITION WILL BE PASSED ONTO THE OWNER.

Should you wish to come and view our Cattery prior to your Cat's arrival we respectfully ask that you make an appointment so that we can spend as much time as possible with you so that your questions can be answered and you can be assured that your cat's stay will be a happy one.
